Being My Best Self: Mattering is the Agenda

Join us for this one-hour webinar where Change Maker Angela Maiers highlights the research showing that feeling like we matter at work and in the world is not a “nice to have” —it is a fundamental human need critical for motivation, fulfillment, and well-being. Enabling meaningful and meaning-filled work in our classrooms helps to let students know that they matter!

In this webinar, participants will

  • Develop strategies to help make people feel noticed, valued and needed every single day.
  • Hear from a Harmony SEL partner who exemplifies the practice of mattering in our lives and with their work.
  • Connect to the lessons in our new Harmony Third Edition unit Being My Best Self to continue to support the focus on students as unique individuals.

Angela founded the global movement, Choose2Matter in 2014, with a singular mission to help individuals recognize their value and potential contribution to change both their own lives and the world. The non-profit organization grew out of the impassioned response to a TEDTalk she gave on the power of two simple words that went viral. YOU MATTER! An educator for 30 years, Angela has shared her message of Mattering not only with students and teachers, but with businesses large and small and organizations of all kinds. Angela is on a mission to disrupt the status quo and to empower every individual to change their own world, if not the world around them for the better.

Participants who join our webinars live with receive a certificate of participation. If you are not able to join the live session, you can register, and we will send you a link to the recording after the webinar.
