Dr. Brian Arnold
Professor, Global Learning, Social Emotional Learning at National University
Dr. Arnold earned his PhD in Educational Technology and Educational Psychology from Michigan State University. Brian spent the first half of his career focused on media arts (film, games, design) and later teaching / administration in those disciplines. His current research interests focus on humane emerging technologies. Early career highlights include working as an editor for Nickelodeon Animation Studios in the late 90s on shows like SpongeBob SquarePants.
Dr. Scott Moss
Academic Program Director, Master of Science in Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology Program at National University
Dr. Moss has worked in K-12 education for 30 years and in higher education for 20 years. He is a Google Certified Innovator who has earned the Time Warner National Teacher and the Classroom of the Future Foundation’s Innovative Educator Awards. He received his M.A. in Educational Technology from SDSU and a doctorate in education from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Moss’ research interests include the ethical and effective use of AI in education.
Mark Otis
Senior Department Analyst at National University
Mark brings experience from traditional higher education and the private sector, focusing on directing large and small technology projects. Having worked in various roles for public and private companies, educational institutions, and funding organizations, Mark is adept at harnessing AI to improve program development, performance, and support. His work involves helping with technical development in cross-platform systems, CRM/eMarketing, CMS/LMS/EMS, database management, cloud and SaaS solutions, and emerging technologies like AR and VR.
Rachel Arnold
5th Grade Teacher at Revo Academy
After graduating from National University with her master’s degree in Instructional Design Rachel took on the role of fifth-grade teacher at Revo Academy in Southern California. Working with twice exceptional students she is constantly exploring ways to keep the classroom relevant, fun, and engaging.
