Lakeside School District was the first district to implement Harmony in preschools, transitional kindergarten, and kindergarten classrooms.

Lakeside leadership selected Harmony as a program to enhance communication and problem-solving among students, to support the rigor of the Common Core. Lakeside teachers and administrators share that students who have been exposed to Harmony express their own stories and feelings, and are learning how actions and words can impact others.

“I have been delighted with what I’ve seen. As preschoolers come in to school and don’t have a lot of background working with other children, it’s very nice to be able to provide them those skills in a fun way and our teachers do a fantastic job. It’s been very successful.”
