Doe Kim has spent nearly 20 years in education and has served as a classroom teacher, Dean of Curriculum & Instruction, assistant principal, and principal. Ms. Kim’s passion is to create an anti-racist educational system that prioritizes cultivating identity, skill, knowledge, and criticality As Director of Leadership Programs at UnboundEd, Ms. Kim is excited to share her passion with district and school leaders who will create those very spaces in which students can truly thrive, both as learners and as human beings.
Dr. James Jackson
Professor of Special Education
Howard University
Dr. Jackson serves as a professor of Special Education, in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, at Howard University. Since joining Howard, he has been engaged to evaluate programs and projects for the United States Department of Justice, the United States Department of Education, and countless public and charter schools. He is currently exploring research and projects that seek to improve the students’ and teachers’ emotional and social stability in the age of COVID and other variables that have impacted students’ and teachers’ mental and emotional well-being.
Dr. Fanny Ballard

Dr. Ballard has worked with African-American and Latinx scholars and communities her entire career. As an Educational Programs Manager, she is committed to providing the same education to individuals to excel beyond the classroom doors. Her passion for being a social change agent has instilled in the strength factors of building solid relationships with stakeholders, community members, and students.
